Advanced Implant & Perio The Advanced Implant Center opened its doors in 1993. The office was conceived by Dr. Robert Schroering. He had seen patients who suffered with dentures and removable partial dentures. These patients were embarrassed and unhappy. He had been placing dental implants for three years to help these patients and felt that a more specialized approach should be taken for such a specific field of dentistry. At that time, and even today, there were very few offices in the country that limited their practice to dental implant surgery. So few that in 1993 you could count them on your hand. Dr. Schroering knew this field required and deserved the best expertise to perform successful work on his patients, so he began this practice. Over 11,000 dental implants later, he is still going strong. In 2004, with the load of surgeries becoming too great, Dr. Schroering found the perfect match for a partner in the field of dental implants, Dr. Ken Parrish. Dr. Parrish created and operated the dental implant division of the prestigious Cleveland Clinic from 2000 to 2004. He is a specialist in periodontal therapy and has a doctorate in Microbiology. He has a wealth of experience and expertise and has become a huge asset to the office. Because of Dr. Parrish, the Advanced Implant Center has now changed its name to the Advanced Implant and Perio Center to better reflect the care given at our office. The Advanced Implant and Perio Center is known for its excellent care and cutting-edge treatment. It is one of only a few offices worldwide that has a CT scan within its office to augment and ensure that only the best diagnosis and treatment is offered. The state-of-the-art equipment available is unparalleled, the wealth of experience is tremendous, and patients have traveled from all parts of the United States and overseas to seek care within its doors. Dr. Schroering and Dr. Parrish have lectured worldwide and have had doctors travel as far as Europe and Asia to learn from their expertise. Dr. Schroering has traveled to Moscow, Russia over 45 times in the past 10 years to place dental implants on diplomats and patients in Moscow who demand the highest quality dental care. Dr. Parrish has treated Sheiks from the Middle East who have flown to the United States to trust them with his care.
