Meet our Doctors At Advanced Implant and Perio our doctors are highly qualified to provide outstanding treatment. Our experience, training, expertise, and ability to treat patients in a friendly and professional manner makes our work enjoyable for the team as well as the patients. Dr. Schroering graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1987. He received his dental implant training at the Midwest Implant Institute. Dr. Schroering's background is in general dentistry, and is the only dentist in Kentucky who limits his practice to dental implant surgery. He is currently an adjunct faculty with the University of Louisville Dental School. Dr. Schroering has placed over 10,000 dental implants. He has helped develop new dental implant designs that are used on implants today. *The American Dental Association does not recognize dental implantology as a speciality. He has lectured in many foreign countries on the subject of dental implants and helps train dentists nationally on some of the most advanced surgical techniques. He has a passion to give his patient’s the best treatment possible. Dr. Kenneth Parrish DMD, PhD Dr. Parrish graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1989. He then received a Dentist Scientist Award Fellowship from the National Institute for Dental Research to attend the University of Iowa. While at Iowa he received his specialty training in Periodontics as well as a PhD in Microbiology. Dr. Parrish has been on staff at both the University of Iowa and University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he trained other dentists and Periodontal residents both implant and periodontal surgical techniques. He was then recruited to the staff of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, a world renowned hospital with the largest hospital based dental department in the United States, where he was Head of the Section of Periodontics and was instrumental in developing the dental implant program there. He is Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Parrish has completed both basic science and clinical research in Periodontology and Implantology. He has also given presentations to dentists and dental students on all aspects of dental implants. Dr. Parrish has received thousands of hours of post-graduate continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest techniques in implants and periodontics.
